You’ll have to be jolly quick though. Or check Fiona’s blog for a list of other stockists.

spunky sprout

Wow, were we happy when Yvonne from yvestown sent us this link. An absolute treasure trove of good design for children.

spunkysprout.jpg

We can definitely vouch for the fact the Svan Bouncer truly IS the next best thing to being in your arms – our daughter absolutely lived in hers. And aren’t these BPA-free bottles just the cutest things EVER. Into the shopping basket they go.

Our favourite thing at Spunky Sprout had to be the Nest Bassinet. Isn’t it just fabulous? Such a brilliant and lovely shop.

Go on, take a peek!

Cath Kidston – new website

www.cathkidston.co.uk

Cath Kidston fans will be pleased to visit the lovely new-look website at www.cathkidston.co.uk.

cathkidston.jpg

Very pretty and very Cath, all the favourites are of course still there, fabric by the metre; kids clothes and accessories; stationery; outdoor for wellies, umbrellas and pet beds; bags, wallets and keyrings in all our favourite vintage prints; and our favourite – home furnishings and wallpaper.

We just wish they’d hurry up and put some stuff in the clearance section!

Be sure to visit Black Lark’s blog too – to see the brilliant way they’re displaying the creatures at their gallery.

Nature baby

www.naturebaby.co.nz

Our favourite shop for all the kids basics – merino tops, body suits and pyjamas, Nature Baby is one of the best things to ever come out of New Zealand. Thank goodness they’ve got an online shop because we probably couldn’t manage without them when offshore.

img_8709.jpg

Their organic cotton and merino clothes are made to last (by a collective in India) – our daughter has had oodles of wear from everything we’ve ever bought from there. They’ve been handed down and will be handed back for our next one – all with plenty of life left in them yet.

img_8707.jpg

If you can pay a visit their Grey Lynn and Newmarket shops are a delight to visit. There are lots of toys that aren’t on their web site and they’ve got play areas full of fun distractions so you can shop and browse to your heart’s content. Everything in Nature Baby; cotton, babyfood, nappies – it’s all organic by default.

Just released – their new Kid Nature label. Everything we know and love about Nature Baby, now for big kids too!

Enfant terrible

www.enfantterribleshop.com

In our top two favourite places to buy for children (the other is Nature Baby), Enfant Terrible’s offering ranges from the essentials, all in essential charcoal, to some rather non-essential but very beautifully crafted Georgina Goodman baby shoes.

Their collection is carefully curated and offers the best selection of children’s fashion, toys, books and interiors we have found anywhere. Labels include le vestiaire de jeanne, jess brown, flora and henri, mor mor rita, pip-squeak chapeau etc, tuss, hut up, enzo mari and bruno munari.
